裏面から主題の輪郭を打ち出し、その表面に図柄の細部を加刻する打出手法の高彫で作られ、象嵌で仕上げた駿馬図の目貫です。

裏面から主題の輪郭を打ち出し、その表面に図柄の細部を加刻する打出手法の高彫で作られ、
象嵌で仕上げた駿馬図の目貫です。
This is a menuki made of pure copper.
It was created using high-relief chiseling, a technique in which the outline of the main subject is
hammered from the back and the fine details of the pattern are added on the front. The carved grooves
are finished with gold inlay, a method in which pure gold is embedded, completing the design with a lion motif.
